Nuclear Codex is a collaborative Wiki that provides the "Big Picture" in under 45 minutes

Before 3/11 we were neutral on the issues surrounding Nuclear Power. To understand the Fukushima Daichi impact on Tokyo we started researching the Chernobyl Disaster 25 years earlier and learned many surprising things about the Industry that need to be documented in an accessible form and so this Wiki was born. After several hundreds of hours of research we became convinced “conventional” Nuclear Power is a bad idea, but instead of selling you this idea, we ask you to make up your own mind.

As we poured over the data we found two sides making extreme but disparate arguments in support of their views. Both these camps have a tendency to either dilute or concentrate the statistical relevancy of the data. To us exaggerating information is just as bad as hiding it.

Rather than argue over single statistics we have aggregated the data to provide a more complete picture.
